Weapon Cases are lootable containers scattered around each map. They are a great source of rare and/or valuable weapons and items.
About Weapon Cases
The location of Weapon Cases are fixed, meaning every time you visit a map, you'll always find them at the same spots. On the other hand their contents are randomized. A Weapon Cases can either be scattered containers or containers of a location.
- Scattered container cases are always lootable. When playing multiplayer they're always the host's loot.
- Cases which are containers of a location can already be opened when you get to them (containing no loot). There's a chance however that it will become lootable for a client when you play multiplayer as the host.
Since Update 17 each case is fitted with a flashlight. The flashlights are always on until you open the case, allowing you to find the cases easier, especially during the night.

There are 15 Weapon Cases on Cascade Hills - 11 as Scattered Containers and 4 as Containers of a location.
- Scattered Container - On a small rock at a campsite.
- Container of the Isolated Camp - In the middle of the camp.
- Scattered Container - On a bench behind the Beautiful Corner Ranch.
- Scattered Container - On a small rock.
- Scattered Container - On a bench by a firepit.
- Scattered Container - On a bed inside a small shack.
- Container of the Military Comms Station - Up on the metal platform, next to the open container.
- Container of the Cliffside Campsite - On an open military crate next to the tent.

There are 12 Weapon Cases on Providence Ridge - 10 as Scattered Containers and 2 as Containers of a location.

- Scattered Container - Inside a cave by the waterfall.
- Scattered Container - Next to a corpse on a rock by a small pond.
- Scattered Container - In the back of a bunker, behind the Lakeside Comm Station.
- Scattered Container - In the middle of a makeshift fighting arena, behind the Providence West Supply Center.
- Scattered Container - Infront of a portable restroom by the Small Water Tower.
- Scattered Container - Infront of a tent behind a huge rock.
- Scattered Container - On the hood on an orange wreck next to the Secluded Camp Site.
- Containers of the Condemned Mill - There are 2 cases on the top floor.
